What poetry contests are good to enter in?
I entered a poetry contest, and they my peom was one of the ones that won. :D, I want to enter more contests because i write a lot of poetry and people often say that they are good. So any good poetry contests you kknow of? Besides poeticpower.com(that’s the one i entered)
Ones that have moeny rewards(or scholarships) would be really good. But just being published somewhere would be nice.

How about just finding magazines, journals and zines and seeing what they have to offer?
I wouldn’t look too much into on-line poetry contests because some of them are scams. If I were you I would go talk to your high school or college teacher or counselor for poetry contests or scholarships. I also write poetry and I have a really good book that you should get its called Poet’s Market 2009. If you are interested in getting your stuff published this is the book for you.
