What is a good poetry book to send to a soldier?
I want to send a poetry book to my good friend, who is in the Marines. He will not be given the chance to come home for the holidays to spend with hims family and friends. He asked of me to send him poems. I, myself am not a poetry reader. So I was wondering what suggestions of good poetry books are there out there. Please help me out. Thanks

My favorite poets have always been Sylvia Plath (Lady Lazarus) and John Donne (Elegy XX aka On His Mistress Going To Bed).
they are very good books
