Q3 What do you think about Wax Poetics Japan? (Cont.)
This is definitely a magazine for music lovers to read. In this magazine there are so many “untold stories” that I did not know about. So it is always exciting to read this magazine. The magazine might provide too much details about music for those who are beginner to these music, but it is also good to read this magazine to get to know good music from scratch. I really want people to read this magazine.
    Translation is something like this

Q3 What do you think about Wax Poetics Japan?
I heard that there was gonna be “Wax Poetics” in Japanese version last year around this time. It was almost like dreams come true. I was always talking about the magazine, and wishing to have it in Japanese version. I really like the magazine, and even convinced record companies and my buddies who own record stores to carry this magazine in English version. So when I heard this news that there was going to be a Japanese version, I was very happy.

Q2 What is your favorite song?
There are so much… but there was this compilation called “Urban Classics,” which came out on label in UK in late 80′s. And “Every body loves the Sunshine” was the 1st track on that compilation. From there it gave me a motivation to look for his original vinyl of this song and on and on…

Q1 When you hear Roy Ayers’s music, what do you get reminded of?
His music is something that I can feel honest. It is like a luxurious sofa. His music provides groove that I can trust & laid back to.
