How do I go about writing a poem without a rhyming scheme?
My creative writing teacher assigned us to write a poem. This is the second one. My first poem rhymed so I don’t want this one to. How would I go about writing a poem that doesn’t rhyme? Thanks in advance!

It doesn’t matter. That’s what is beautiful about poetry. If you want to focus on something other than rhyme to make it easy, try beat. Use syllables to make it flow.

It’s just concise prose configured like a poem.
