How do I go about getting my Poetry published?
Hi I live in Canada and I would like to publish my poetry, does anyone now of a specific news paper or magazine that is looking for poetry? I have heard it is a good idea to get your work out there, but I don’t now where to send my poems to!

Visit http://www.duotrope.com. It gives addresses and submission requirements for many magazines that publish poetry.

There are different ways. The poetry publication business is rough these days. You may want to build your reputation first. There are online communities out there where you can exercise your poetry skills like http://www.fliprap.com That’s a great site where you can post your poems and get quality feedback.
