Impossible.
Anyone can copy it. I can read your story and type/write it out.

There are some sites that don’t allow copying and pasting, but I am positive that costs money. So I think you would be better with a copyright license.

Well, usually most poem sharing sites have a copy right.

I use http://www.inkpop.com to share my poems.

Get a copyright. It is very easy to do… Get the application on line, fill it out and mail it in. While it is being processed you can publish your poem but be sure to use the copyright language…. something like this…..

    Copyright @ 2010, Johnny Mathis.

“All rights reserved. No part of this poem may be reproduced, stored in any retrieval system, or transmitted in any form, or by any means without the written consent of the author.”

I SAW YOUR words online and COPIED THEM. How would you ever know if I put them in a book under my name?

Luckily, NOBODY – repeat — NOBODY makes any money selling (or stealing) poetry. Your stuff is safe because it is worthless (meaning all poetry is.)
