many rappers and artists are enlightening and speak poetry that can uplift ur soul in dark times.
And no i am not speaking on the behalf of lil wayne youn joc lil gangsta w.e his name is. But rap is considered in many ways a form of poetry and put a nice beat in the background and you can have a wonderful song.
i remember when i attended MLK HIGHSCHOOL and russell simmons did a little show for us and this guy performed..it influenced me to write poetry..the realist shit ever
man speaks the truth at its truest using rhymes to sooth all of his viewers while thugs write their music and use it for fame but this guy proves that integrity remains and cleverly shows that people want change for the better, as long as you render an entertaining letter so write to unite make people feel light as a feather and alleviate the tension by lightening the pressure.
This brother (Ach) is TOO POWERFUL FOR HIMSELF!!! I love his words and how he puts the puzzle together in a way that goes straight for the heart! I can’t wait to start up my Poetry channel… Black Ice has been a HUGE inspiration along with Suheir Hammad and Saul Williams.
